MODERN DOCTOR-LED PEPTIDE ASSESSMENT PROGRAM
Get StartedStart with blood tests. Consult with a doctor. Receive a personalised plan.
Peptides are short chains of amino acids. Some peptide-based medicines are used in regulated medical care, but whether any medicine is suitable depends on an individual medical assessment, appropriate testing, and a doctor’s prescription.
PremierBODY does not provide peptides as over-the-counter wellness products. Our process begins with clinical screening and blood tests. A doctor then reviews your results, medical history, current medicines, health goals, and any possible risks before deciding whether a treatment programme is appropriate.
No peptide or prescription medicine is supplied without medical review and a valid prescription.
What are peptides?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids joined by peptide bonds. They occur naturally in the body and are also used in some regulated medicines.
Because peptide-based medicines can affect biological systems, they should only be considered after a proper medical assessment. Suitability, dosing, route of administration, duration, risks, and monitoring must be determined by a qualified healthcare professional.
This is not a “one-size-fits-all” programme
Your treatment plan is based on your blood tests, consultation, medical history, and doctor’s assessment. A peptide or compounded medicine may not be required. In some cases, your doctor may recommend monitoring, lifestyle changes, referral, further testing, or an alternative treatment pathway.
Individual responses vary. No specific result is guaranteed.
Peptide and Peptide-Related Options We May Consider
Peptides and peptide-related compounds are used in doctor-led treatment programmes where there is a clear clinical reason to consider them. At PremierBODY, these options are not offered as over-the-counter wellness products or one-size-fits-all protocols.
Your journey starts with blood tests, followed by a doctor consultation. Your doctor will review your results, medical history, current medication, lifestyle, goals and risk profile before recommending a tailored programme.
Where a peptide or compounded medicine is clinically appropriate, it is prescribed for you individually and supplied through an authorised South African compounding pharmacy.
The examples below are included to help you understand some of the options that may be discussed during your doctor review.
NAD+
NAD+ is involved in many of the body’s natural cellular energy and repair processes. It may be considered as part of a doctor-led programme focused on cellular health, energy pathways and healthy ageing support.
SS-31 / Elamipretide
SS-31 is a mitochondrial-focused peptide that has been studied for its role in cellular energy systems and mitochondrial function. It may be discussed where your doctor is assessing cellular health, energy production and overall resilience.
Thymosin Alpha-1
Thymosin Alpha-1 is a peptide involved in immune-system signalling. It may be considered in doctor-led programmes where immune function, resilience and overall health status are being reviewed through blood tests and medical history.
DSIP
DSIP, or delta sleep-inducing peptide, has been studied in relation to sleep and rest pathways. It may be discussed where your doctor is reviewing sleep quality, recovery patterns, stress load and other relevant health markers.
Selank
Selank is a peptide analogue studied in relation to stress-response and neuroimmune pathways. It may be discussed where calm, focus, resilience and nervous-system balance are relevant to the patient’s overall clinical picture.
PT-141 / Bremelanotide
PT-141, also known as bremelanotide, works through melanocortin pathways and is discussed in certain doctor-led sexual wellness assessments. This option is reviewed privately and only where clinically appropriate after your doctor has assessed your medical history and risk profile.
5-Amino-1MQ
5-Amino-1MQ is not a peptide, but a small molecule studied in relation to cellular metabolism and enzyme-signalling pathways. It may be considered only where your doctor feels it is relevant to your blood results, health profile and personalised treatment plan.
BPC-157
BPC-157 is a synthetic peptide that has been studied in relation to tissue, gut and recovery pathways. Your doctor may consider it where your assessment suggests that repair, resilience or tissue-support pathways are relevant to your personalised programme.
TB-500 / Thymosin Beta-4 Fragment
TB-500 is related to thymosin beta-4, a peptide involved in cell movement and tissue-repair signalling. It may be discussed in a medically supervised programme where recovery, mobility or tissue-support pathways form part of the clinical assessment.
GHK-Cu
GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper-binding peptide that is often discussed in the context of skin quality, tissue-support pathways and aesthetic medicine. Your doctor may consider it where skin health, tissue integrity or regenerative support are part of your personalised plan.
Semax
Semax is a peptide analogue studied in neurobiology and cognitive-performance research. It may be considered where focus, mental clarity, stress resilience or cognitive support are part of the doctor-led assessment.
CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin
CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin are peptides that act on growth-hormone signalling pathways. They may be considered only after careful review of blood markers, sleep patterns, recovery status, medical history and overall suitability.
MOTS-c
MOTS-c is a mitochondrial-derived peptide studied in relation to cellular energy signalling and stress-adaptation pathways. It may be discussed as part of a broader doctor-led assessment of energy, resilience and metabolic health markers.
Seeing a peptide name on this page does not mean it is suitable for every patient or that it will be prescribed. Your doctor may recommend further testing, lifestyle guidance, monitoring, a different treatment pathway or no medication at all.
Every programme is personalised, medically reviewed and prescribed only where clinically appropriate.
Do not use peptides, injectable products or compounded medicines without medical supervision. Do not change your dosage or treatment schedule unless instructed by your doctor.
Start with Blood Tests
Your first step is a clinical assessment and blood testing. A doctor will then review your results and determine whether a tailored treatment programme is appropriate.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Complete Questionnaire & Blood Tests
Your programme starts with clinically appropriate blood tests. These help your doctor build a baseline picture of your health and identify whether further medical assessment, monitoring, or treatment may be appropriate. Blood tests may vary from person to person. Your doctor will determine which tests are relevant based on your history, symptoms, current medication, age, and risk profile.
3. The Doctor Consultation
Once your results are available, you will consult with a doctor. The doctor will review your blood results, medical history, current medicines and supplements, previous procedures, allergies, and any relevant health concerns. The consultation is also where your doctor will discuss potential risks, alternatives, expected monitoring, and whether a prescription treatment is clinically appropriate. Not every patient will be suitable for peptide therapy or compounded medication.
3. Start Your Personalised Plan
If treatment is clinically appropriate, your doctor will create a personalised programme. This may include lifestyle guidance, follow-up blood tests, ongoing monitoring, and, where required, prescription medication.Where a peptide or compounded medicine is required, it is prescribed by the doctor and prepared or dispensed by an appropriately authorised South African compounding pharmacy. You will receive individual instructions for storage, administration, dosage, and follow-up. Do not change your dosage or treatment schedule unless instructed by your doctor.
4. Ongoing Review
If treatment is prescribed, your progress will be monitored. Your doctor may review symptoms, blood markers, treatment response, side effects and safety markers over time.
PremierBODY Weight Management is a doctor-led assessment and support programme. It is not an over-the-counter product offering and does not guarantee that medication will be prescribed.
Blood tests must be completed before the doctor consultation. During your consultation, your doctor will decide whether you are a suitable candidate for any specific therapy based on your results, health history, medication use and risk profile.
No prescription or compounded medicine is supplied without medical review and a valid prescription.
Individual outcomes vary. Your doctor will discuss realistic goals, safety considerations, monitoring and follow-up with you.

Will I definitely receive peptides?
No. Peptides or compounded medicines are only considered where clinically appropriate and prescribed by the doctor.
Are results guaranteed?
No. Individual responses vary, and no medical outcome can be guaranteed.
Can medication be shipped before medical approval?
